How Can Fatigue And Excessive Weight Gain Be Treated?

I have checking my sugar once in morning and around dinner time, before I eat, and at bed time. My sugar has stayed around 80-86. The highest was 99 once at bed time. I’m always tired and I have gained around 20 lbs in pass 6 months. I do not sleep well at night, waking up serve times. Was wondering what type of diet I should be eating and is this to low for my sugar.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The most plausible explanation for your signs and symptoms could be thyroid gland disorder.

Feeling tired, experiencing sleeping difficulty and weight gain with no other apparent cause are the most common symptoms and signs associated with thyroid gland disorders.

Therefore, my advice is to consult with an endocrinologist in order to confirm or rule out this potential cause of your concerns.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
