How Can Eye Irritation Be Treated?

My eye became irritated Friday afternoon with a discharge. It is still red and feels like something may be in it. I am not sure if I have scratched the surface or if it maybe pink eye. It seemed to get better with eye drops but symptoms come back.

iis bacterial infection. get checked by eye doctor to exclude corneal injury in that case it should be treated as corneal ulcer staining should be done to see if ulcer is active ofloxacin .3% 6 hourly should be applied maintain cleanliness and avoid touching eye with dirty cloth keep watch and get reviewed till it is normal
