Hi Doctor, This is charitha and I am 29 yrs old and single.Before 4 yrs my weight is 50.In the last 43 yrs i gained weight gradually and it is now 70.I consulted a doctor and she said i have hyperthyroidism and suggested Thyronorm 50 mcg.I used for 1.5 month s but no use.My weight is 70 still.Hair fall is another problem i am facing.I taken advice of homeopathy and tsh level is 5.7.He suggested some medicines ,i lossed 1 kg for 1.5 month.I am not using any medicine now. Can i continue Thyronorm medicine again. I want to loss weight in 1 month for atleast 4 kg.Can you please suggest the best way to loss the weight and thyronorm is best for me? Can i use that or can i continue homeopathy to loss the weight fastly in 1 month

Hi charitha...You hav hypothyroidism...Your TSH levels are not too high...but it's normal at the same time. due to hypothyroidism you may face problems like weight gain, hair loss etc.otger causes of weight gain is also important to rule out...Engage yourself in a physical activity daily. and check free t3.,4,TSH levels fasting sample once and then decide regarding discontinuing thyronorm.
