Thanks for contacting with your health concern
1. Mild elevation of liver enzymes are normal [although liver produces enzymes in response to injury/infection] but since unable to know the values of liver enzymes cannot say about the degree of pathology [if any]
2. For prophylaxis: check the values in consultation with your attending doctor or Hepatologist [since if increasing there could be an ongoing
hepatocellular injury like superadded infection can cause liver dysfunction]
PS. keep a note that although these tests are sensitive but very nonspecific and serve to detect liver disease rather than quantitative liver function so their high values don't signify a serious complication most of the time, it is the underlying pathophysiological process which needs to be diagnosed and managed.
3. So if they are constantly on the higher side, check with a Hepatologist and/or get a
second opinion and go with
Ultrasound,
Endoscopy,
serum albumin, PT [prothrombin time] and INR.
PS. since the said products mentioned by you are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease thus make sure to choose them only after having proper examination with your physician
