How Can Eczema Be Treated?

I have exema on my hands..currently using Halobetasol creme twice a day ..also using Eucerin as needed.. my hands are peeling a lot and still burning in certain spots.. tried going to bed with baby oil and Vaseline on my hands and sleeping in gloves but it does not help!

Hi,

As per your question the eczema treatment based on as below:

a) Corticosteroid topical cream to help control inflammation [DAREDERM cream]

b) Creams that repair skin like [Protopic or Elidel]

c) Oral antibiotics [AB-cef-200 mg twice a day for 10 days] to prevent secondary infections

d) Oral antihistamine to control itch [Benadryl] at bed time

e) In severed cases add oral PREDNISONE for one month tapering weekly

f) Dressing the area in Wet which will heal quickly

g) Use SUNLIGHT to the affected area once a day

h) Remove stress as skin is connected to your central nervous systems directly

i) Do exercise regularly. Be positive in your mind always otherwise it will take months to heal.
