Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Dry skin cannot be cured completely.

It is caused by genetic make up of an individual and complete cure cannot be attained.

You can apply emollients like moisturizers.

Low potency steroids may provide some improvements but have to be applied as per the instructions of a dermatologist.

Have healthy diet rich in fruits and vegetables as antioxidants may improve the general health of your skin and provide improvement.

Hope I have answered your query.

Let me know if I can assist you further.
