How Can Dry Lip Skin With Scar Tissue Be Treated?

Hi There, I had an accumulation of dry dead skin on my lips and I had a really bad habit of picking the dead skin off until it bled. Now, it has left a black spot almost like a scar tissue or a blood blister I m not sure on my bottom lip. It has been there for a while now and I m not sure how to make it go away. Please offer me any suggestions and feedback you think will help. Thanks

Hi,

It may be cheilitis. Kindly consult the dermatologist. I would recommend moisturising skin cream to keep the lip moist. If needed, mild steroid cream may be applied. Frolic acid tablets may improve the disease.

Avoid the bad habit of pricking the lip skin.

I hope this would benefit you.
