How Can Discoloration On The Penis Be Treated?

Thank you in advance. Dr. ...i put a small dab of compound w on the bottom side of my penis to attempt to get rid of what looked like a very small whitehead. I guess i burned the skin from ingredients in compound w and it left a dark purple almost black circle a little smaller than a dime!..i should have read the label first..said not to use on genital area..anyway is this permanent disoloration or will it go away??

Hi there,

Do not worry, it is likely to be a temporary discolouration from a burn due to the harshness of the Compound W. You might have some peeling over the area later on, but yes it will eventually heal over a week or two. Be gentle with the area for now, do not try to rub it off while it heals.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Dr. Teh
