How Can Diarrhea Be Treated?

My wife has had diarrhea for the last couple of days. Today she hasn't gotten out of bed except to go. She won't eat. I want her to go see someone but can't get her to go. Result, I can't sleep, On web ND trying to find out/educate myself. Worried hubby.

So far as symptoms narrated here, there is intestine infection. Primary guidelines of management
- Allow her plenty of liquids as boiled water, coconut water, lemon juice, butter milk, mung water, oral re-hydration salt.
- Allow organic fresh fruits with rice, dal.
- Avoid all spices, non veg.
- Increase intake of probiotic in diet with fresh curd and get medicine containing probiotic from the chemist.
- Observe her general condition, urine output, stool frequency for next 24 hours and report after that time or before as per the progress.

Wish her fine recovery.
