How Can Diarrhea Be Treated?
I think I may have traveler s Diarrhea or norovirus.... or food poisoning I took imodium because I had to board a plane... is bad to take anti-diarrhea medicine if the diarrhea is not super severe? If it were food poisoning, shouldn t I let the toxin leave my body? -Thanks, Ananda

You said that you had food poisoning. In such cases leave your stomach empty from heavy foods and it is good to let your body do the things against the infection as 2 or 3 Loose Motions won’t cause severe dehydration.
But you mentioned that you were travelling and following above procedure would be difficult for an individual. So you can take the medicine for your stomach.
You dont need to worry about the infection as the body itself has defence mechanism and it will work its course. Meanwhile taking anti-diarrohea would be comfortable during the travels.
