How Can Diarrhea And Stomach Cramps Be Treated?
I am tasking carafate for gerd. I take 2 prevacid before bkfst & dinner and 1 tsp. carafate 21/2 hr. after eating. I have bewen on this regime for about 10 days. Toaday I have diarrhea with each urination..thick in suabstance. and some cramping. I have taken l immodium just now. what should I do.?

As a physician I would like to tell you that diarrhea and stomach cramps while on above tratment is not normal. You should take Tab Dicyclomine along with immodium. You should also visit your consulting physician if the symptoms does not subside after 4 to 5 days.
