How Can Diabetes And Liver Hemangioma Be Treated?

ive been diagnosed in the last 2 years with type 1.5 diabetes and liver hemangiomas. in the last 6 mos, ive had 2 more tumors appear that werent hemangiomas. ive had ct scan and mri in last 2 weeks. liver is enlarged but findings on tumors were not malignant; however, im having pain in liver area, easily winded, bloat and get hard and swollen after eating, and sugars have been elevated in 200s. what kind of treatment can be done? they have rec stopping birth control pills, which i was taking to prevent follicle cysts in ovaries. they want another mri in 3 mos. what kind of treatment is tere to elliviate the liver and sugar problems?

Most hepatic hemangiomas are small and asymptomatic at the time of diagnosis, and they are likely to remain that way patients typically undergo ultrasonography and CT abdomen at 6 months and at 12 months after the initial diagnosis. Minimally invasive therapies for hepatic hemangioma include arterial embolization, radiofrequency ablation, and hepatic irradiation. Diabetes is treated with diet modification with oral hypoglycemic drugs with regular follow up is useful. Please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
