How Can Cough, Sore Throat And Difficulty In Swallowing Be Treated?

I have had bad asthmatic cough for the past 5 days with accompanying sore chest muscles, shortness of great, etc. Now I have sore throat, difficulty swallowing saliva and bad headache.Could this be some kind of backward cold,or is this something more? I do have asthma, but I rarely need rescue inhaler . Now I have to use it several times a day.

If so

Mostly you have upper respiratory tract infection probably viral

Repeated need for inhalational drugs might be do to hyper reactivity of your airway which was probably exacerbated by this infective episode
