How Can Constipation Post Kaopectate Intake To Treat Diarrhea Be Cured?

I had a round of stomach problems last week. I think it was from fast food place I went to Wed. and about 3 am Thursday, the diarea and vomiting started and last until Saturday, when I took some Kaopeptic. Now I am constipated and may stool is black. Any recommendations?

Hi,

If constipation is severe, you can take laxatives like lactulose for symptomatic relief. You can include more fibre-rich foods in your diet.
