How Can Constipation And Poor Appetite In An Infant Be Treated?

Hello doctor My baby is formula fed since birth..our paed suggested lactodex.her poop was thickfrom the beginning.now that she is months old and she passes poop only once a day .her poop is hard and struggles to pass. Also she drinks very less milk now. Please advise

Hi,

Formula feeds can sometimes cause constipation and indigestion.

You can consult your pediatrician and consider bowel soothing and laxative drops like Bonnisan and Lactulose.

Nothing much to worry as it will settle by conservative measures.
