How Can Constipation And Hemorrhoids Be Treated?

Hi, I have a small piece of meat in my anus and I m always constipated.I realise an amount of bleeding all the time after using a toilet and the pain is too bad whenever I have to release gas. I consulted a Doctor and he gave me Anusol ointment and said it relieves the pain & irritation. I m just worried about the little meat, if it doesn t come off, will it not cause any kind of problem in future?

Hi..

It seems that you are suffering from Hemorrhoids also known as Piles and the symptoms of bump sticking out from anus along with pain and blood on wiping seems to be due to it..

Hemorrhoids are inflamed and swollen veins that are formed when there is continuous irritation of the veins present in the rectum area and inflammation can lead to pain and bleeding during bowel evacuation..

If you are always constipated, it is one of the most common cause for hemorrhoids..

Consult a Physician and get evaluated and a clinical evaluation and anoscopy can be done for diagnosis..
In case if piles is confirmed then you can be advised:
-Application of steroid and numbing ointment like Anovate..
-Sitz bath that is sitting in warm water tub especially after bowels....
-High fiber diet along with laxatives like Polyethylene glycol and stool softeners like Docusate to maintain proper bowels..
-Avoid spicy food and drink plenty of water..
