How Can Complete Detachment Of The Hamstring Tendon Be Treated?

I am a 60 year old female with a complete detachment of the hamstring tendon complex from the ischial tuberoaity . This includes the semi-membranous and conjoined tendons of the semi-tendinosis and long head biceps femorus tendons. The tendon complex is retracted approximately 3-4 cm and is surrounded by a moderate amount of hemorrhage, fluid and /or edema. There is no muscle atrophy. There is edema in the region of the sciatic nerve in the upper thigh. Should I have surgery
