I have been dealing with lingering cold symptoms since Dec. 20th. The mucus has been clear up until 2 weeks ago, but when now I cough up yellow/green mucus. Although I don t cough much, I have lots of drainage down my throat, which can sometimes be very thick. Occaisonally, my nose will run a bit, but mostly it just feels very stuffy in my head and I feel like I can t breathe, even though my nose itself is mostly open. Sometimes I feel a bit dizzy like I m not getting enough breath until I stop and breathe deeply. Last week our online dr. perscribed steroi ds which I have been taking and will finish tomorrow. I don t think that was the right answer, as I don t feel differently and the steroids are making it hard for me to sleep. Do you think I might need an antibiotic for a sinus infection because that is what I was thinking the dr. would say last week?
