How Can Chronic Cough Be Treated?

For several days I have had a very bad cough associated with a respiratory infection. This morning I noticed that the area under one eye looks like it bled under the skin about the size of a dime- almost like a black eye. Could the cough have caused it and if so will it fade away? Is this something i should be concerned about?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello

Yes it might be from pressure .It will go away it might need some time.
I would suggest a chest x-ray to see the cause of the cough and treat it properly

Kind regards
