Hi Dr. Narasi, My seven years old daughter has been coughing for several days, and two days ago she got running nose, this morning she complained about her left ear, so I applied a cotton con Vick VapoRub for kids, and she fall sleep. When she walked up she said her ear was better, and we needed to do an errand, and in the way back home she said she was feeling sick and vomited but only clear liquids, and mucus. We are at home, and she said she is still feeling nausea, but now she said she is hungry. I gave a salted cracker. Is it o.k. to give her some chicken noodle soup?

I had a cold a few days ago and got caught in a sand storm riding through the desert. Since then the cough has got a lot worse. Feels fairly loose but not coughing up mucous. Sneezing occasionally and sometimes runny nose. Cough got worse over three days. No temperature. Otherwise feel good. Suggestions.

Hello. I lost my voice while at a concert about a week ago. Two days ago I started coughing (I thought it was related to losing my voice and my vocal chords healing). Now my nose is starting to run, not congested, just keeps draining. These are my only symptoms. The runny nose doesn t bother me much, but this cough is horrible. Cough drops (HALLS Triple Soothing Action) seem to keep it under a bit of control, but I hate having to keep using them one right after the other. Is there an antihistamine that would be good to replace or work with the cough drops?
