Hi, I was severely constipated and straining to use the bathroom for over 2 hours. Finally had some relief but now have horrible hemroids which I expected but also have an extremely swollen vagina area. I m freaked out and very sacred... will it go back to normal? Not sure what to do here

The vagina seems to be affected by extreme pressure while exerting for motion. Glycerine suppository would have eased the problem. Take stool softeners like cremaffine at bedtime till constipation is relieved. sufficient water & finer intake would help.

Wash the part with soap & water. Sit in a warm water tub to foment the part gently. Apply antibiotic ointment if there are cracks or injuries. OTC anti-inflammatory drug like Ibuprofen would help. If no relief is seen In 2 days consult your family doctor for needful antibiotics & other medications for treating the cause.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
