How Can Chills, Fatigue, Headaches And Persistent Nausea Be Treated?

Hi. I have been suffering headaches and general fatigue for a few days now, progressively getting worse. Now I am experiencing extreme fatigue, relentless nausea and tender epigastric region. I have vomited once and had one episode of diahorrea. I am also feeling hot and b getting random chills across my body, kind of like goose bumps.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have chills, fatigue, headaches and persistent nausea . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like tension headache , mumps , aseptic meningitis , cold exposure and viral syndrome . But in your case the symptoms are probably due to viral infection , which will go away in few days without any treatment , usually treatment is given for symptomatic relief .I would suggest you to consult general practitioner for proper examination . Doctor may order blood test , examine physically and take history to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe antiviral drug like acyclovir along with anti pyretic and anaglesics . Doctor may also refer you to ENT specialist if there will be mumps or any other condition related to upper respiratory track infection .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
