How Can Cervical Radiculopathy Be Treated?

I have pinched nerve in my neck, my left shoulder blade area pins and needles sharp pains go down my arm into my wrists my fingers tingle and go numb. I have carpal tunel in my right hand it hurts somewhat but it also tingles and goes numb. However the Doctor wants to do surgery on the carpal tunel but my left hand is the one that s the most painful and fairly useless. I m 66yrs old not crazy about surgery! I also have to mention since 1993 I ve had pain in upper&lower back diagnoised with bulging&herniated discs I have had pain all these years! I have no quality of life, I really don t want to live whats rest of my life this way. HELP

Consult a neurosurgeon specialized spine and evaluated. As a first line of management you can take analgesics like tractor acetaminophen for pain relief. In severe cases, surgical correction may be required. Wishing you good health.
