How Can Bone Spurs On The Right Knee Be Treated?
I have bone spurs on my right knee cap. I have had a kenalog shot that gave temporary relief. I also had the shots for filling in a gel around the joint. It relieved the severe pain I was having but now I have a sharp pain when moving that almost causes me to buckle at the knees. It feels like my knee cap is moving and the pain can be on both sides. The one shot for my knees was to last up to 6 months and it has only been 2.

Pain killers could provide only symptomatic relief, and if the pain is severe better to go for surgical excision of the protruding spur. You can first do an MRI scan to assess the size and location of the spur and later consult an orthopedic and he will direct you further. If the size is small you can opt for arthroscopic repair.
