How Can Blurred Vision Be Treated After A Retinal Detachment Surgery?

I had retinal detachment surgery 4 weeks ago. I saw my Dr. Last Thur. 3 weeks after surgery . My bubble is gone but my eye is still dilated so my vision is very blury. I am on no gtts and was only on an antibiotic and steroid no atropine. I do have a sm cataract that I had before the surgery. My Dr. Wad worried about it at my first week check up but after my 3 week check up he said it looks much better. He said to follow up now in a month with my Dr. He said it could take a week to a month for the dilation to go down and my vision to get better. Is this right. Will the dilation go away and my vision get clear? Right now it it like seeing thru Vaseline.
