Hi, just trying to find out what are dangerous blood sugar levels and when should I go to the hospital if needed? I just took my blood sugar and it was 290. Then I remembered I had Apple juice earlier and had 2 bowls of cereal. Just took my evening meds metformin and glypizide

You have not mentioned if the blood sugar result is fasting or post prandial.you can continue with the same drug regimen along with a good diet control.
