How Can Bacterial Vaginosis During Pregnancy Be Treated?

I have bacterial vaginosis & I am pregnant and I was given a gel to use so it can go away but it only works for a few days and then it starts to get itchy all over again even using it and I have no idea what I can do to make it go away, is there anything you think it can be or what I should do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
dear mam
thanks for writing to HCM
as regards bacterial vaginal infection, for now being pregnant,we need to concentrate more on the topical gels and douching with antiseptic solutions only.
we need to also take care during delivery for the baby, for any eye or Skin infection for a normal vaginal delivery.
be constantly in touch with your treating doctor.
hope it helps
