How Can Athlete S Foot Be Treated?

My son has bad case of athlete s foot. He has tried the powders and sprays. He has aired his feet out as best he can and changed socks frequently throughout day. Nothing seems to be working. Is getting worse. Any other suggestions? He is also starting to get blisters now. Thanks!

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Most common cause for athletes foot is fungal infection by tenia pedis.
Best treatment for this is Terbinafin (antifungal) cream for locally application.
Combination of Terbinafin and fluconazole or ketoconazole is also good.
He is needs to apply this for 4-5 months.
Wash his socks and hands with ketoconazole solution.
Don't worry, he will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your son. Thanks.
