How Can Arthritis Of The Neck Be Treated?

I have arthritis of the neck due to being a painter for 34 years. I take Mobic and 25 mg of CBD capsules. My cholesterol is only elevated at maybe 211. Blood pressure is about 220 to 235 usually. I did just retire in Sept. When I lean over I get a head rush, pressure in head. My dr s nurse said it sounded like plaque. Doesn t just go away, it lasts a long time. What do you think? Thanks...

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The blood flush in the head you feel when lean over is due to high blood pressure (BP). You need to consult immediately with a cardiologist and run a few diagnostic tests: EKG, echocardiogram, stress test. Monitor your BP and record the results for reference.

Your actual BP of 220 is extremely high.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini,
