How Can Appetite Loss Along With Abdominal Pain And Nausea Be Treated?

Hi I ve been taking 1mg of pizotifen every night for many years now alongside clonidine. Last week I ran out of pizotifen whilst on holiday and haven t had any for a week. I m now experiencing bad tummy pains - around my diaphragm and a lot of nausea. I also have a bad headache at the base of the left side of my head. Now home I m keen not to restart the pizotifen. Are these symptoms linked to the withdrawal of pizotifen? I have advanced Barretts and have doubled my nexium to help deal with the pain and nausea and loss of appetite. Advice please? I am 50yrs. Female.

The withdrawal effect of Pizotifen may include head ache, nausea. Weight gain may be concerned less likely. My recommendations at present
- Drink more liquids
- Consume bland, vegan diet
- Add anti emetic as Ondancetron with anti-spasmodic as Dicyclomine in your drug basket after prescription of your doctor.
- Be in regular follow up with your doctor to ease the recovery faster.
