Doctor called on her cell and said that it could be dangerous if it busted. How long would the pain last she stated she was in pain since Wednesday. What can I do?
Hello dear I understand your concern Appendicitis is a emergency problem. Clinical examination and USG/CT scan will help in the diagnosis. Your sister require urgent surgery. If it is remain untreated cause rupture of the appendix and that lead to infection spread to abdominal wall and other organ, widespread sepsis. So consult the experienced surgeon and undergo surgery like laparoscopic/open appendectomy to cure the problem. Pre and post surgery antibiotic should given to control infection Hope this may help you
