Hi

Antidepressants and Benzodiazepines are the most important classes of drugs used to treat depression panic attacks and anxiety.

You have a long history of these conditions and from your description i can deduct that the actual medication is not effective.

My advice for you is to consult a local psychiatrist and to discuss with him all the alternatives of treatment and what is the right therapy for you,in your actual circumstances.

Antidepressants takes several weeks before they begin to work, so you have to take them continuously, not just during a panic attack.

Benzodiazepines act very quickly (usually within 30 minutes to an hour). These drugs provides rapid relief of symptoms, but they are highly addictive and have serious withdrawal symptoms.
So,they should be used with caution.

For these reason it is necessary to discuss carefully with your doctor about the right therapy for you.
Apart medications you can try even Cognitive behavioral therapy and psychotherapy.

With the right treatment and self-help, you can reduce or eliminate the symptoms of depression and panic, regain your confidence, and take back control of your life.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
