How Can Anxiety Along With Chest Discomfort Be Treated?

My TSh level is 5.03 I wanted to make it to down to around 2. Actually im daily taking 50 mcg thyronorm for a year i only started started taking dose of 75 mcg thyronorm since then im feeling anxious, pains in legs while walking, a kind of shallow breathing, less energetic, inconvenience in the centre part of chest, an uneasiness, plz suggest me what to do...

Hi,

If thyroid hormone is taken in a dose higher then you need it may cause problems with anxiety and also chest discomfort and less energy.
The pain in the legs does not seem to be related to the thyroid problem.

If you have TSH of 5.03, as you explain above, while you are on treatment I would recommend you to go back to you usual 50 mcg dose of thyronorm as you seem to be pretty close to the normal values of TSH (0.5-5 is the normal range).

I would also recommend you to talk to your doctor related to your symptoms as a few of them do not seem to be related to the thyroid problems especially the leg pains.
