How Can An Osteoma On The Forehead Be Treated?

hi i have an osteoma on my forehead and when i went to see a doctor about it they told me i had o get a surgery that wold have to cut my head open ear to ear. i just wanted to know if there are other alternatives near me(national city CA) ? please help..
