How Can An Open Wound On The Leg Be Treated?

Hi, I had an accident and have an open wound on mt leg between the ankle and the fingers. It has been a week today and i have been appying soframicin. The would is still not dry and there is pain even now. Should i switch to Betadine ointment ?? Or Neusoprin ? What is the best ?

Kindly mention size of wound and photo if available for giving more comment

Rule out diabetes first as if diabetes associated healing takes time...

Open wound require alternate day dressing...
For dressing initially in few days betardine solution applied and wound cleaned gently

Then topical neomycin applied and wound closed gently with bandage

Once red granulation tissue formed, normal saline used for wound cleaning

Dressing done in this way... For that i advise better to get dressing by nearby doctor

Ibuprofen and vitamin C can be taken
