General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear Patient,
you shouldnt have squeezed the pimple because this will increase the risk of infection unless you have done it in sterile conditions.
In addition adding lemon which is made of acid can irritate your skin and cause redness and make the inflammation worse.
The recommended management in your case would be the following
1- stop using lemon on your skin
2- apply fucicort 3 times daily. fucicort contains fucidin which is a local antibiotic to kill the bacteria and local bethametasone which is a corticosteroid that will decrease the inflammation and itching sensation.
3- monitor your temperature and the redness on your skin, if you become febrile and the area of your skin that is red increases in size becomes swollen and painful then this might be acute cellulitis and you must be treated with oral antibiotics such as augmentin 1 gram twice daily for one week.
