How Can An Insect Bite Be Treated?

I was bitten but don t know what bit me. He is a little sore and red also skin feels tight. I scratched and notices a clear yellowish puss that got hard and I may have made the bite open the way it looks. I dont know if its something I should go to the Dr. Or can I take care of it at home? I m in no pain.

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

It looks like the bite area got infected and due to Infection there is pus formation..

But as the pain is resolved it is a sign of healing..

For now you can apply antiseptic ointment over the bite area and along with it use betadine solutions to clean..

Avoid scratching the area as the Infection can spread..
Keep it clean and dry..

If it worsen consult an Emergency room and get evaluated..

Hope this helps..

Regards..
