How Can An Infected Pimple On The Finger Be Treated?

My husband has an infection on his finger, it started as a little pimple and he squeezed it and picked at it. it got red swollen and hurt. He went to the dr. and was prescribed dicloxacillin 500 mg 3 times a day. it now looks purple almost black and he just hit it on something at work and he said pus came out... yuck. he has been on the anitbiotics for 4 days. what could this be?

it appears to be scabies avoid contact with such patients. it is contagious and ascabiol is only medicine can be applied maintain hygiene and sanitation linen can be cleaned and sun-dried consult doctor for local examination.
