Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Ear infection or ASOM may cause above symptoms. Avoid entry of water into ears , avoid cool drinks and freeze water, avoid smoking and alcohol. Use antibiotics with decongestant medication. If symptoms not improved please consult your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

I m 64 and a half, male, 160 lbs, 5 10 and about two weeks ago, started having air come out my right ear when blowing my nose or pinching off my nose to make ear feel unblocked. Sometimes a clear liquid comes out, enough to drip off the ear lobe. The liquid did not start until I was washing my ears in a shower, nothing different than the past 50 years or so.

My ears play up all the time, lots of wax, lots of blockages, really bad on landing of flights unless i take some sort of decongestant or nasal spray. I just recently had a horrible head cold but today I have woken with a blocked right ear its swollen on the inside it hurts to touch my ear or lay on it, I also noticed this morning I have a huge gland swollen below the sore ear, that is also sore. Is there anything I can do to ease the pain or get from the local pharmacy.. (drops, pain killers,or natural remedies)

I am 36yrs old, 5ft 1in, 66 kg. I have just had a caesarian. After the birth I had a spinal headache, and have not really been able to sleep at night. I took adol for the headache initially then panadol extra. After that my right ear became partially blocked as if I am partially deaf. This blockage has continued for the last three days. What is the cause and how can I get rid of it?
