How Can An Appendectomy Wound Be Treated?

can i not use gauze pads 18days post appendectomy?my wound has no more discharge and also why do i feel dizzy when lying down and rising up from bed.i had an open surgery and it ruptured during operation.i am no longer taking pain meds and antibiotics now.

As you went an open surgery chances of infections are more so u should follow the postoperative advice given by your doctor.Postoperative dizziness is common try to increase amout of liquid intake and get some healthy diet for better recovery.
