How Can An ACL Ligament Tear Be Treated Without Surgery?
hello doctor,i had knee injury three years back and the doctors here recommended me for mri and the mri shows(acl ligament tear).and have not gone through any treatment till date .here doctors have suggested me for surgery.as i am overweight i dont want surgery .i am 20 years old .so what do you suggest for this problem?
Hello,Thanks for your query.After going through your query I came to know that you are suffering from ACL tear. You are not willing for opration . Your injury is already three years old.Your age is 20years and you are overweight.Looking to all conditions only option left is quadriceps exercises regularly and analgesics (diclofenac ) for pain relief whenever you feel pain.You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
