How Can Allergic Spider Bite On The Forearm Be Treated?

My husband has a bug or spider bite on inside of forearm. One prick Mark, red and swollen with redness continuing up his arm to his elbow length. It itches and burns...should he be seen by a physician. Spot is sore, but he says he has no other symptoms. He is 75 years old and recently was cutting the grass which extends into the woods....we live in Weatern New York.

Thanks for posting on HCM
A skin reaction of that sort after a bite is possible.I will sugggest he take an anti-histamine like benadryl and a steroid like dexamethasone.If his tetanus immuunization is not up-to-date, you may see the Doctor for a booster.
