How Can Allergic Acne On The Forehead Be Treated?

My 19 year olddaughter had her eyebrows waxed three days ago and now her forehead is badly broken out and it appears to be an allergic reaction to the wax. It looks like acne and rash all at the same time but she has never had an issue with acne. What would be a remedy? I told her to take a Benadryl but that didn t seem to help.....

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I think she is suffering from a skin allergic reaction. I think she can continue to take Benadryl two times daily. Also she can do a Prednisolone injection to help relieve symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
