How Can Adenomyosis Be Treated When The Uterus Is Enlarged?

I went for a pelvic us.. This were the findings.. The uterus was enlarged The posterior endometria- myometrial junction is poorly defined No myometrial lesion or fibroid was seen The endometrial stripe is thickened measuring 16mm Both ovaries are normal in size,location and echogenicity No free fluid in the pouch of douglas The adnexa are clear.There is no bladder wall mass or calculi seen. Conclusion: Features of adenomyosis..please help me doc.what is the solution? My name is margaret,22 yrs old from kenya..

The report indicates that you have adenomyosis. This condition means that the inner wall of your womb is growing toward the womb it self instead of growing toward its gavity. In normal cases the inner wall of the womb grows toward its cavity.
Let me assure you that there are many surgical and non surgical treatment options for this condition. You have to review your gynocolgist and discuss the options suitable for your case.
