Hello,

As per your query you are having symptoms of acid reflex which could be due to mainly inadequate intake of fluids and fiber rich diet and due to some medications like antidepressants and could be irritable bowel syndrome.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination. The doctor may order colonoscopy, barium studies and blood test.

Till then, avoid intake of sharp, spicy and hot food substances. You should start with drinking a lot of water, do light exercises and avoid fatty and heavy meals. Take light walk after every meal. Avoid sleeping immediately after having heavy food.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
