How Can A Wound On The Thumb Be Treated?
Hello today I was helping my mother in law unpack at her new house and while opening something with a kitchen knife I managed to stab myself in the web of my hand it didn t hurt when it happened it s a small stab wound and I have no clue how deep it is but 20 mins later it s started to hurt pretty bad now it hurts to move my thumb and its sore all the way down to my wrist but it has stopped bleeding I see purple and white inside of it should I go to an emergency room?

dear sir. u need to meet a surgeon. he will do an initial wound assessment n give u a tetanus toxoid injection. if wound is deep he mite put one r two stitches. n if the wound is not clean, u I'll be prescribed antibiotics. kindly meet the doctor. since the bleeding s stopped. emergency room s not required. thank u
