How Can A Uterine Fibroid Be Treated?

I was diagnosed with a large fundal fibroid with my uterus being the size of a 12 week pregnancy back in August. Since then the swelling in my abdomen has become unbearable. I can t enjoy food and am often mistaken for being pregnant. I also have a cystocele which is possibly being caused by the pressure of said fibroid. I have breast pain, gland pain and pain under my ribs. I generally am miserable. Is it possible that this is all being caused by the fibroid??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear. Welcome to Healthcaremagic. I read your query and I understand your concern. Your fibromyoma is of course the cause of your discomfort. I think at this point surgery is the only option. You should consult a gynecologist for it.
Take care.
Hope my answer was helpful, if yes, vote helpful.
Regards ,Dr Olgeta Xhufka ( general and family physician ).
