Hi, Urinary tract infection is common problem which may be just urethritis, cystitis or both. severity and duration of disease depends on the causative organism, there sensitivity to drugs, predisposing conditions like obstruction in urinary tract or diabetes. if the bacterial urethritis which is sensitive to antibiotics without ant predisposing condition is easy to treat compare to drug resisstant variety with predisposing condition. take plenty of water, alkalization of urine, and taking apropriate medication based on culture sensitivity test and treatment if predisposing factor will solve the problem. take care
