Hello,

You have swollen ear piercing which is due to infection as during piercing the instruments used are not clean enough or not sterilized and leads to the formation of pus and pain as well.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you clean it properly and apply fusidic acid cream or mupirocin cream locally to treat or avoid any infection and pus in the ear lobe. You should take Advil or Tylenol for pain. Consult a doctor for proper examination. The doctor may prescribe an antibiotic course for 7-10 days. Don't remove the ring as it will cause the closure of the site. If bleeding occurs, you can apply the pressure for ten minutes till the bleeding stops

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
