How Can A Surgical Stitch Wound Be Treated?

Hi! I hope you can help me . I had a skin cancer removed from the lower left side of my left leg. ,result was good . The stitches were removed 1 week later, a few days after that the wound fell open . I am putting an antibiotic & Vaseline on it using boiled, cooled salt water to clean the wound . I want it healed quickly . Can you suggest anything else ?

I understand your concern.
Wound at the surgical stitch could take about a week to ten days for it to heal completely. Kindly take are of the wound as to not to get it infected as infection would further delay the wound healing. Keep the wound clean and apply medications as advised.
You can take Vitamin C supplementation in addition, which would help to heal the wound more quickly.
